    Additional requirement to facilitate Public Meeting

    Section 12.18. The electorate is empowered to raise a Petition to Recall an Elected Member of a Regional or Burgh Council. The procedures are as provided for the recall of a Member of Parliament as outlined in Sections 6.1 and 6.2. Councils are bound to organised and notify public meetings to discuss Recalls where appropriate and to facilitate such petitions relative to both National and Local Government..
