Section 5.14. Section 5.14. The non-government aligned Members of Parliament may elect a member who will be designated by the Presiding Officer as the Leader of the Opposition.
Section 5.14. This idea very much is the inheritance of a biparty Parliament and a reminiscence of the Westminster model of Parliament. Principally, all MPs have the democratic duty to scrutinise the Government. (see also section 5.12)
