Section 4.5. While the principle ensures that the representative is familiar with that area, it would be unnecessarily restrictive . Who is to say that someone from a neighbouring location doesn't know the proposed area. And what about those who work in a different constituency and live elsewhere?

Section 4.5. Representatives of constituencies should have lived in the constituency for 10 years before being able to stand in that constituency.
