Article 3. The Head Of State

Section 3.7. The Head of State will award civic honours in recognition of public services, as proposed by an Independent Commission in accordance with the law.

Proposed Amendment to Section 3.7.

    the current UK honours system must be abandoned

    Section 3.7. Should the monarchy continue, there must no more "honours" from this source. It must be the people who honour the people of Scotland with no seeking of favour and that honour should be the gift of the elected head of government or an elected head of state
